Job Description
The Systems Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for the managed services networks.
The individual will be responsible for onsite technical implementation and troubleshooting of WiFi and
wired LAN networks. The Systems Engineer will be reporting to the Director of Engineering. This position
will be responsible for the following:

Integrate and configure WLAN, LAN, IoT, and other managed service networks
Configuration of APs, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network equipment
Provide field support during the design, construction, and integration phases of the network
Collaborate with design engineers for integration of network solutions
Serve as technical support for Deployment teams during construction of networks
Perform network maintenance to include fault analysis and enhancements
Provide remote and onsite support for trouble tickets to meet client SLAs
Perform cable testing and review cable test results
Perform benchmark data collection and create reports
Create and deliver close-out documentation
Provide Tier 2 and 3 support and troubleshooting for network issues and outages
Use of small hand tools and network/electrical tools to perform minor installation tasks
Travel will be required to customer sites

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Five or more years of hands-on field work experience in commercial WiFi or wired LAN
One or more years of WiFi or wired LAN design experience preferred
Onsite LAN and WLAN equipment configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting and support
experience required
Network security and firewall configuration and administration experience preferred
Routing and switching protocols and implementations experience required
Cisco or other industry routing and switching certifications preferred
● Managed network experience in hospitality and multi-dwelling units (MDU) verticals preferred
● WLAN and LAN experience with Aruba, Ruckus, or Cisco required
● Ekahau, iBwave, or other WLAN design and benchmarking software experience required
● RGNets or Nomadix (Subscriber gateway and AAA/RADIUS) experience preferred
